TV Mounting Tips, Part 5/6

"Centering" your TV mount!

TV mount locations on the back of your TV are not always centered on your TV. Usually the mount attaches toward the bottom of the panel on the back of the TV

In short, if you "center" the mount where you want your TV on the wall and think you have the perfect height, your TV might end up a good 6"-12" higher on the wall once you set your TV into place unless you measure and compare the mounting plate that goes on the wall to where it attaches to the mounting plate on the back of the TV to make sure your intended height matches the height reality!
