What tool would make a great Christmas gift for my DIYer?

Everyday DIY is becoming a thing of the past for many nowadays. As a result, tools aren't getting passed around as much and as many as half(!) of all millennial homeowners don't even have a single tool! This makes ANY home DIY, no matter how simple, a near impossibility.

With Christmas coming up, many home improvement stores are offering great deals on starter tools and kits. So what tool or tools what would be the best choice for your DIYer?

An electric drill and a basic tool set would be almost all your DIYer would need for basic projects around the home. A drill and basic screwdriver set are some of the most versatile tools you can have on hand, even for everyday non-DIY projects.

I received a basic Hyper Tough tool kit from Walmart as a gift for Christmas just a few years ago, and it's been so handy to have around the house! It's small and convenient to store around the corner in a closet until we have some small project that needs a tool.

Here are a few tool kit ideas:

$24.88 @ Walmart: shorturl.at/fpvRS

$44.99 @ Ace Hardware: shorturl.at/cqwNX

$79.99 @ Amazon: shorturl.at/EFJK7

Here are a few drill ideas:

$59.97 @ Home Depot: shorturl.at/agQS2

As you can see from these examples, investing in your own tools or tools for your DIYer doesn't have to cost hundreds of dollars. For the cheapest options here, you could get an impressive assortment of tools for less than $60!

Do any of you DIYers have a specific tool or tool kit you have found invaluable around the house? How do you use it?
