Where do I Display Pictures Around My Home?

There are many places to display and share pictures around your home, and here are 5 ideas!

  1. Create a focus spot! By prominently hanging one important picture on a wall, you’ll bring extra attention to this area. This is a great way to display an important family picture or an important occasion. Offsetting a bigger frame off to one side on a larger wall, or centering in a recessed area shows this picture off best!

  2. Create a photo wall! Choose a wall in your home and hang a picture of each family member, of your favorite spot on every vacation you’ve taken, different nature scenes, or a combination of all of them! This looks best when different sized frames are used, and even different frame styles to add a personal touch! You can get really chic by stretching string across from two points and clipping your pictures to the string college style.

  3. Create some shelf space! Shelves are often too cluttered and overflowing with items we never even use, so why not put that space to good work showing memories instead? Get some shelves decluttered, and you don’t even have to get the hammer and nails out for this one. Just lean the pictures or frames against the wall and go!

  4. Create a digital photo frame! With all the technology we have today, going digital is easier than you’d think. Many of us already have a smart home hub sitting on our counter with personalized pictures. A digital photo frame can sit anywhere or even be mounted on the wall. Instead of having to print actual pictures out, you can simply connect to your phone and upload them anytime! If you’re feeling extra savvy, you can plugin programs to your TV to make it a BIG photo frame in your main family room!

  5. Create YOUR space! What’s a nail hole or two in the wall among so many? Why don’t you think your favorite waterfall picture would work in that corner? Who says that wouldn’t look good? Pictures share your story, your passions, your thrills. Put them anywhere you want to! Go on, give it a try!

These are just 5 places to share your pictures around your home. You can probably think of more! If you get stuck, just take the pictures in question and leave them in places you think may work, even if you’re just setting them on the floor and leaning against the wall. Passing it over the course of a few days will help you decide if it fits in that area or not. If it works, great! If not, try a new spot!

Do you have any pictures you’ve been wanting up lately? Get creative!
