How to Remove Vomit Stains!

Whether your child or doggie isn't keeping dinner in too well, you might end up with a bit of a discolored "situation" on your carpet or couch... How do you clean that up properly?

First off, pop a mint if you need to. Something refreshing to calm you down can be a great first step to preventing your own episode.

Second, depending on "consistency" you can either use your hand inside a plastic bag or some disposable plates to get the main mess up.

Third, after the majority of it is up, sprinkle/dump baking soda on the spot and let it sit for 10-15 minutes to soak up what it can before scraping the dried gunk up. Follow this up with a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and warm water with a liberal dose of dish soap squirted in. Use a spong to massage the mixture into the area. Rinse with cold water, blot dry with paper towels, and you should be good to go!

(If you were unable to take care of the mess right away, following these steps a few additional times should have the same success)

Hopefully this is a how-to you never have to use. But if you do find yourself in this situation, don't panic. Breathe, it will be okay!
